From the heart I can’t thank Maria Fogg enough for all there help. This is the 2nd time Danielle, Libby and Natasha have helped me with a very very complexed case involving a special needs child. Danielle was my first port of contact and was helpful, professional, understanding, knowledgeable and extremely caring to my situation. Once ready Maria Fogg instructed a specialist barrister that had an amazing knowledge and whom eased all my nerves. I hope that no one has to attend a family court but if you do please give this practice a call. It’s my opinion that if it wasn’t for Maria Fogg and the whole team then I wouldn’t have ever seen my child again.

MF&CO have, in abundance, the fundamental qualities that any reputable firm must have in this area, those being: client care; empathy; accessibility and immaculate. Given the range of work that MF&CO cater for their client care on each and every case is exemplary. I have never come across, or heard of, a client who has not had his or her case explained to them well in advance of the hearing. They always arm each client with, in a manner that they will understand, what they need to know to make every hearing matter. No matter the difficulty, trauma or complexion of the case the empathy displayed and offered is always present. Even those in the most difficult situations, with profound difficulties are treated with unfailing compassion and courtesy. They are approachable and friendly. Often, matters of this nature are dynamic, and fast paced. To that end clients have access to their legal team through a dedicated WhatsApp which operates out of hours and they are always accessible in the case of an emergency. A rarely seen opportunity that is offered to clients.

From the Bar’s perspective, you could not ask for better instructing solicitors. You always receive the papers in good time with full instructions, and a client who has always been appropriately and robustly advised. That ought to be a given, however, it simply is not. Those instructions that are received are thoroughly prepared whether that be a fairly straightforward case management matter, through to complicated application for expert instructions to matters concerning the inherent jurisdiction.

Everyone I have contacted at Maria Fogg has been efficient and responded within a timely manner. People who are working a case keep good contact with the IDSVA’s and liaise well to ensure the client is best supported. In particular liaising with IDSVA when the client’s engagement is low due to the trauma they are experiencing. This supports the client to be protected or represented accordingly. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable, and I can ring anytime just with a question and I am always supported.

The impact for the clients is that they can be advised on their options and the consequences of each option either being taken or not. This is invaluable for out clients, and for the IDSVA’s. The impact on the client is a friendly and trauma informed approach to supporting through some difficult to understand situations and laws. The impact on the IDSVA’s is that I feel we are learning all the time through our contact with Maria Fogg staff.

I would use your service myself if I needed to. I would and do recommend your service for our clients and you do always keep us informed and become part of a multi-agency team to provide relevant support to people who want it. I will continue to be providing your phone number to my clients.
