In 2022 we reached our 10th Birthday and throughout the year we had a lot to celebrate.
Expanding Maria Fogg Family Law
We expanded our family law team with 4 new starters Danielle Stevens Green, Abbie Talbet, Gill Speed and Jennifer Courtney.
Our Teams Development
Many Promotions took place that recognised the growth of individuals within our firm. Olivia Hussey, Danielle Stevens Green and Jeni McHugh all progressed to Senior Paralegals. Whilst Josh Riley, Ella Wilding and Libby Wilding progressed to Paralegals. Finally, Louise Sefton progressed to a legal assistant.
Summer Internships
2022 was our 2nd year of running the Summer Internship Programme and it was another huge success. We welcomed Casey Slevin, Holly Robinson Tilley and Alisha Buckley who all undertook various roles. These include roles such as sitting behind Counsel on hearings, taking Court notes and gaining valuable practical experience within a busy law firm.
Graduations
Graduation season was busy as we congratulated Danielle on completing her Legal Practising Course. As well as Libby, Jeni and Louise completing their Law Degrees. Finally Josh and Ella also had their graduation ceremonies which were delayed due to covid.
Do You Hear Wedding Bells?
We celebrated 2 marriage proposals within the firm. Massive congratulations to Danielle and Jeni.
SQM
The firm successfully retained our Specialist Quality Mark (SQM) which we have proudly held since 2012.
Our Charity Work
We completed numerous charity works in 2022, we sponsored a water pump in Africa and provided donations to Knowsley foodbank. As well as donating electronics, clothing and toiletries to the Big Help Project. We ran our Christmas Shoe Box appeal, Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children and Christmas presents for the women and children at local women’s refuges across Liverpool. We also donated our legal services to a charity auction.
Individuals Charity Work
Jeni ran a 5K to raise funds for SANDS saving babies’s lives. Annemarie and Olivia completed a sponsored walk raising funds to support overseas treatments for a family friend with a brain tumour.
Sponsorships
We began sponsoring Bellefield Football Academy and 2 local children’s football teams Mags Sparta under 9s and Bellfield Academy Under 6s.
Plans For 2023
2023 is already off to a great start! We are very excited to announce Stephanie O’Neil is joining the firm this month.
Team Progression
There are plenty more team progression plans with Danielle undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Exams later in the year. She is on track to become a qualified solicitor by the end of the year. Natasha Martin has applied for the Family Panel Accreditation.
Congratulations to Emma & Olivia
An exciting new arrival is on the way for Emma Kennedy who is due to have a baby later in January. Olivia has embarked on a 12 month career break travelling across Asia. We will look forward to seeing her exciting journey this year and welcoming her back in 2024.
11th Year Anniversary
We are finally celebrating our business 11th anniversary with a big party in January to start 2023 with a bang.
