Empowering Collaboration on International Women’s Day
In the spirit of International Women’s Day, Savera UK, have orchestrated a powerful gathering dedicated to celebrating women and combating violence. Alongside esteemed partners such as Maria Fogg Family Law and RASA.
Inspiring Inclusion
The event, themed “Inspiring Inclusion,” served as a beacon of unity. Bringing together over 200 women from diverse backgrounds to address challenges, celebrate achievements, and foster solidarity. All with the aim of uniting to end violence against women.
The Event
The venue was pulsating with energy as mesmerising performances treated participants. Performing were the Lighthouse Choir and the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival. However, the heart of the gathering lay in the earnest discussions and exchanges that unfolded throughout the day.
Embracing Diversity & Supporting One Another
The theme of “Inspiring Inclusion” echoed through every aspect of the event. Emphasising the importance of embracing diversity and supporting one another. From engaging speakers sharing their stories of resilience to hands-on activities such as henna painting and massages. Every moment was there to be uplifting and empowering.
The Power of the Event
As one attendee, deeply moved by the collective spirit of solidarity, expressed:
“Communities of all cultures uniting together to uplift and honour each other. The collective spirit of solidarity filling the room was moving.”
